Tau Ceti IV is a deserted colony in the dark science fiction universe where you must infiltrate a hostile UESC security force, contend with competing Runners, and face unexpected surroundings. Get ready for intense PvP warfare as you and your crew or solo search its zones for treasures. Be prepared for responsive gunplay, limited resources, and the rewards of preparedness.
Use exfil to level up your seasonal strength, get cosmetics for your accomplishments, and use your loot to construct greater builds. Then, on your next run, risk everything again in the hopes of even better fortune.

A Cemetery of Opportunities
In order to recover the artifacts from a missing expedition, you must trespass over desolate research institutions, hostile environments, and security outposts. Unique foes, ever-changing events, and natural dangers make death a constant concern in Tau Ceti. To get you ready for the UESC Marathon, which is hidden in the sky, each zone gets more harder.

STRONG, MODIFIEABLE, AND DEPENDABLE.
The six Runner shells provide a variety of starting points for different play styles, such as Thief, Destroyer, and Recon. You may create an infinite number of builds by scavenging an armory of moddable weaponry, implants, and upgrades for the core system. In order to achieve your goals and win fights, your crew must strategize together every run to create compositions that play to your strengths.

Persistent Danger
In solitary lobbies, you may face the unknown on your own or with a small squad. Imagine yourself as Rook, a lone scavenger with no beginning gear and nothing to lose, sneaking into crew lobbies that are in the middle of a mission. Create shaky alliances via prox chat with other runners to take down common adversaries, but keep in mind that your new friends might turn traitors in an instant. Fight with all your might; even dead, a lone survivor can restore their crew’s health.
Compete in Rated mode later in Season 1 to showcase your skills and gain recognition.

Persuasion is Strength
Reach out to six rival groups, each providing tempting incentives to strengthen their grip over Tau Ceti. Gain access to season-long unlocks including Runner shell improvements, better beginning loadouts, larger vault capacity, and specialized goods for spare loot as you complete faction contracts, increasing your baseline power.

TRUTH DEFRAGMENT
The disappearance of the Marathon expedition a hundred years ago remains a mystery. You find yourself in a special position to put the pieces of the puzzle together as an intruder within UESC territory. Explore further inside the colony and you will find the bones of Tau Ceti’s history.

Perishment Rests On
Once the path into orbit becomes available, head to the UESC Marathon’s Cryo Archive on the first level with your endgame construct. In order to steal valuable relics from frozen vaults, you must crack security puzzles similar to raids. Enemy crews, each equipped and vying for the same reward, will confront you in every confined passageway. Enter the seventh vault and face up against a threat that the UESC is afraid of.
